This is my first 3-D make. It is a bank that is in the shape of a house. There are customizable aspects such as my name in it and the top of the bank
The cufflinks I made are in orange but you can customize them to any color or design you want. I put my initials on them but you can put a name or even a logo on it.
This is a Darth Vader ring I downloaded off of thingiverse.com. On the inside of it, I added my name to it. I did this so that nobody could take this and claim it as theirs.
This is a nameplate for a luggage tag. Yoy can customize this with your name and contact information but I put my name and my school street and town instead of my own.
This is a pair of pixelated glasses I made. I created them by making a small box and I duplicate that box to create all of the corners and the tops for the glasses.
In my 3-D printing class, we use an FDM printer. There are a lot of different printers such as an SLA, DLP, SLS and much more but the main one available to the public that is easily accessible is and FDM printer which stands for Fused Deposition Modeling. This printer lays down many layers of filament that can be made of almost anything. After a layer has been laid there is a base that the item is printed on which moves down a little bit after each layer is printed. The process is repeated until the entire item has been printed.
In our class, we use a 3-D modeling program named Tinker Cad. This program allows us to effectively and properly push the boundaries of the human capacity to imagine and create.
This is a Philips head screwdriver I designed. The grip in it has been made to create a surface with more fiction to accommodate for the tork being put on it to tighten a screw or bolt.
The multi tool I created has several features. It has two blades. One has a created edge to cut small branches and the other is a clean blade. There is also a small wrench piece to tighten/loosen small nuts and bolts.
This is a ring I made and this is able to be customized or altered to your liking.
